COGS
Cultivation of Gifted Students
As part of our Enrichment & Extension program, which identifies and fosters students' individual learning needs, we run the Cultivation of Gifted Students initiative. Affectionately known as COGS, the program consists of two streams that extend and accelerate learning.
We believe it is important that every student regardless of intellectual ability is given the opportunity to further their learning journey. For this reason we have created an initiative that provides enriching. enticing programs.
IGNITE
Enrichment
IGNITE Enrichment,“ignites” students’ passion for learning each term. Whole year-level sessions rotate between Mathematics and Literacy, deepening understanding of core subjects. Students cultivate critical thinking and inspire creative problem-solving.
Extension
IGNITE Extension empowers gifted students by providing deep dives into subjects. Students engage in challenges and projects, supported by specialized educators who help them exceed their own expectations. They achieve success across various academic disciplines.
FUEL
Fostering Understanding through Extended Learning
To keep the fire burning, experienced educators who are passionate about their subjects, lead dynamic, weekly FUEL sessions. Students develop curiosity and critical thinking, through captivating activities and hands-on projects.
Our dedicated teachers customise each session to meet students’ unique needs and interests. We create a learning environment that is both enjoyable and inspiring.
