Our Academic Scholarship Program recognises and supports students who excel academically. These students also live out our Christian values, and participate in extracurricular activities. We award scholarships based on a review of academic performance, work habits, behaviour, attendance, and community involvement.

Year 5 PROSPECTIVE
This Scholarship is open to prospective students who will enter Year 5 at Oxley in 2026.
Duration
Until the end of Year 6.
Year 7 2026 OPEN
This Scholarship is open to both current and prospective students who will enter Year 7 at Oxley in 2026.
Duration
Until the end of Year 12.
Year 7 2027 OPEN
This Scholarship is open to both current and prospective students who will enter Year 7 at Oxley in 2027.
Duration
Until the end of Year 12.
Years 8 to 10 OPEN
This Scholarship is open to both current and prospective students who will enter Year 8, 9 or 10 at Oxley in 2026.
Duration
Until the end of Year 12.
Year 11 PROSPECTIVE
This Scholarship is open to prospective students who will enter Year 11 at Oxley in 2026.
Duration
Until the end of Year 12.
Portfolio Submission
To be considered for a scholarship, students must submit a portfolio. Applicants can submit this portfolio in any format, eg; written essay, visual diary, collation of works. The portfolio must respond to the selection criteria below. These selection criteria questions will be asked during the interview, should the applicant be shortlisted.
- How do you embody the Christian values of our College in your daily life?
- Describe your academic achievements and how you have maintained high academic standards.
- What contributions you have made and/or will you be able to make to the extra-curricular program at our College?
- How do you manage your time to balance academics, extra-curricular activities, and other commitments?
- What leadership roles have you taken on/or will be able to take on within the College community?
- Provide an example of a challenge you have faced and how you overcame it.
- What are your academic and personal goals for the future? How will this scholarship help you achieve them?
All work presented must be the student applicant's original work. Students will be able to refer to their portfolio should they be invited to interview.
Edutest Registration
In addition to submitting a portfolio, applicants must also sit an Edutest exam. To book your Edutest exam hosted at Oxley, please follow the links below.
Note: Examination will take place on Saturday 15 February 2025. The registration fee for 2025 is $100. Registrations close on Friday 7 February 2025.

- Scholarship Cover Sheet
- Portfolio
- Most recent NAPLAN results
- Most recent Semester Reports (x2)
Highly Desired:
- Details extracurricular involvement
- Details of any leadership roles
- Letters of recommendation or achievement
Timeline
1. Put together Portfolio
Include NAPLAN results, teacher's reports showing consistently high results, response to selection criteria plus any notable extra-curricular activities, leadership roles, or competition results.
2. Apply.
Apply from November for Scholarship opportunities.
Applications for scholarships may be emailed or mailed in.
3. Sit the Exam
Your child will sit the Edutest exam on Saturday 15 February 2025, onsite at Oxley Christian College.
Alternatively, your child may sit the exam at other participating institutions. In this case you must still submit your scholarship coversheet, portfolio, and documents before Friday 7 February 2025.
4. Student Interview
If your child is shortlisted, following the results of the exam, your child will be invited to interview with our Scholarship Panel. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by March 1.
5. Recommendation to Principal
Depending on the outcome of the Interview, your child may be recommended to the Principal who will decide the Scholarship % allowance awarded.
6. Notification and acceptance
You will be notified of the outcome by the end of term 2, 2025. Scholarship is not granted until letter of acceptance is submitted.
