Building New Strengths

Students in Years 7 - 9 take part in our Middle Years program. The program focuses on building resilient, well-rounded students with the tools and skills to succeed in their Senior Years. Through the exploration through a diverse range of different subjects, they discover their passions and develop their academic, emotional and social strengths.

At Oxley, we believe that every student is a unique creation of God and has the potential to achieve great things. Our desire is to help our students discover their innate talents, learn new skills, and become the best they can be. Throughout the Middle Years program, our students discover who they are, their place in the community, and what they are passionate about.

We believe that education is not just about academic achievement, but also about developing students' spirits. We want to help our students grow in their wisdom and develop their character. We foster compassionate and responsible members of the community. Our Middle Years, Chaplaincy, Wellbeing, co-curricular and Civic programs develop our students' social skills both practically, responsibly and emotionally.

To prepare students for their Senior Years we empower students to take ownership of their learning journey. This approach helps students take responsibility for their learning. This leads to greater academic success, motivation, and self-esteem.
