We understand that students face a variety of social, emotional, and moral challenges beyond their studies. Oxley is dedicated to providing the support they need to thrive in every aspect of their lives.

Wellbeing

Oxley's Psychologist and Wellbeing staff help students navigate important issues like making good choices, feeling independent, and handling peer pressure. Our Wellbeing program is built on the foundation of socio-emotional learning, which is essential for children’s overall development. We offer a variety of counselling services and proactive wellbeing activities and programs. These activities are designed to strengthen students’ sense of self, enhance their emotional intelligence, and promote positive relationships.

Chaplaincy

Christian Expression

Our College Chaplain is on hand to guide students as they explore some of life's big questions. At Oxley, we believe that spiritual growth can lead to happiness and fulfilment. We hope that students can experience the joy of a relationship with Jesus. Aside from Christian Studies and weekly Chapel, students have many ways to express their faith.

Support & Community

Wellbeing Activities

Our onsite registered psychologist offers one-on-one support and invites special guests to inspire and uplift students. Hot Chocolate Mornings provide a cosy space to connect and relax, while Wellbeing Week features an exciting array of activities. Our programs enhance wellbeing and foster a strong sense of community and mutual support.

Junior School

Social Emotional Development

Junior School Wellbeing has a large focus on developing students' social understanding and navigating their emotions. We use age-appropriate resources and programs to build mindful, resilient and confident little people. Our programs include Kimochis, Girl Wise, Wiseguys, and the Habits of Mind.
